Went here growing up since I was very young. Now that I have my own family I'm grateful to share a great experience with them. We rented a yurt and left the camper behind and towed the boat instead. Lots of good fishing and fun traveling around the river. All around great experience. Even my teenager didn't want to leave.

This campground has beautiful views of the lake. There’s tons on trees though out the campground and in most the of campsites. Which could make it tricky for people to pull campers in and out. The bathrooms were not the best. People trash them so badly throughout the day. You have to pay .50 (you purchase coins at the camp store) for 5 minutes of shower time. The water for the showers in bath house one is so hot that it’s uncomfortable to even use, it would have burned my kids skin. I had to drive to the back bath house just to let my kids take a shower, which is a bit of a hike to get back there from the front. The water hookup at weird, have to have splitter for everyone to use the water. Definitely a huge campground tho. Over all we had fun.

Ok so im not one to complain but absolutely hands down favorite place ever to go BUT the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting even after being clean I don't feel they do a good job and definitely scope out your campsite cause I found on the picnic table a live 410 shot gun shell and fish hooks all over the ground so I think they need to actually look over the site after people leave as my 5 yr old found several fish hooks

Nice rustic tent sites on the point with a beautiful view of the water. I just wish they had an employee riding around monitoring the campground and to enforce quiet hours. I had loud neighbors blaring music at one am.

Have been coming here for 27 years. A great, family friendly place to come. The campground has great size lots, various types of lots, yurts & cabins for rent, a park & nice beach area. The camp store has been the same for as long as I can remember (I’m not complaining I love that about this place). Old orchard is home. My parents brought me here & now I bring my kids here

Great campground but the campers ruin it. Stayed here for a couple of weeks with my wife. Park was clean. Restrooms and showers were clean. Was very peaceful. That was until more people came in. Loud radios at night, quiet time starts at 11 but who wants to listen to someone’s music while trying to relax around your campfire at 9:30? Bathrooms got trashed and people cutting through your campsites. Watched several campers draining their waste tanks on the ground at their site. People leave trash on the sites and don’t pick trash up when they leave. Didn’t see anyone from the park ‘patrolling’ or asking people to turn down their music. Store closed at random hours and the people who work the gate, when their is even someone there, we’re very rude. This place has a special meaning to me and my family but it’s the rude disrespectful people who ruin it for others.
